Psalm 30:5b "Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning."

Here in Ontario, Canada, the spring has been a long time coming! It was a cold, harsh winter and there were times when I thought it would never end! And yet...here we are! The snow is gone, the flowers are starting to bloom and I am once again feeling spring in the air.



I believe that there is a great life lesson for myself, and for all of us, in observing the seasons and rhythms of nature all around us.

Our journey on this earth has seasons and rhythms of its own. This is a concept I really need to get a hold of! I have walked through deep darkness and I have also walked in great light. My problem is that I despair in the darkness because I forget that the light will come! I must remember that as surely as the the night turns into morning...so will our moments of darkness give way to moments of rejoicing.

Maybe you are walking in darkness today...if so I pray that you will be uplifted and that maybe you can take a moment to remember and rejoice in a time when you walked in the light. It is certainly helpful to remember the good times when we have to walk in the bad times. I have been there (too often for my liking! )...and it is my deepest desire that these words from Psalm 71:14-15 will speak to your heart today.

Psalm 71:14-15 "But as for me, I will always have hope; I will priase You more and more. My mouth will tell of Your righteousness, of Your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure."
