We had our first real frost here this morning. I went outside and discovered a macro world of delight! This dandelion has just the perfect touch of frost on it....

Wow, this is beautiful! But how on earth did you get frost and a dandelion in the same frame? Don't dandelions die in summer??

Well I live in Ontario Canada. The dandelions here hang around until they are completely covered in snow....which is usually in late November early December. Hearty little things aren't they?
