This is my entry for the Nature's Natural Textures Contest:
Best appreciated at full view. I found this little gem (some might call it a weed) hiding in some wild grass on the road to our house...I am full of wonder and awe when I look at it's delicate patterns and downy soft texture. It is truly breathtaking! Tragopogon Pratensis...it is also known as a "Goat's Beard" and is about the size of a baseball. |
